What is
Sourdough-starter?
Sourdough starter is a living, fermented culture of flour and water.
When it is active and bubbly, it is able to rise bread naturally without the use of commercial yeast.
Sourdough starter has been available for thousands of years. It’s what was used in the old country when commercial yeast was not yet available.
Why we love it:
Sourdough bread has more flavor and minerals as opposed to commercial yeast bread. Sourdough is amazing for your microbiome.
It’s that simple.
